Product Description:
The PRS-819B is a Sanyo Denki card designed to be used in servo control systems. The card is compatible with amplifiers from Sanyo Denki; it is not equipped with any form of protection and requires proper installation into servo systems. The board has an approximate length of about 100 millimeters; it is also 80 millimeters wide and about 20 millimeters thick. During normal operation, this product supports the RS-485 and RS-232 communication protocols; it also supports typical overvoltage and thermal shutdown protection provided by Sanyo Denki applications. The operating voltage of this product should be provided by a controlled DC power supply; the typical voltage range is between 24 to about 280 volts. The PRS-819B supports various connection interfaces; this includes digital and analogue control inputs for servo drive commands. This board also supports PWM-based control with a high-resolution feedback unit.
The recommended ambient temperatures around the PRS-819B during its operation should be between -10 to 50 degrees as it is typical for Sanyo Denki products. This product also provides galvanic isolation for signal integrity and operator safety. The design and shape of this product support mounting on a DIN rail or panel mounting options; environments, where this product is used, should be free of corrosive gases such as dilute acids or alkalis. The card should also be protected against high impact.
The PRS-819B has been reliably tested in an independent laboratory and confirmed to meet international standards. It is also CE and UL compliant. The response rate of this product is extremely fast and is typically in the low milliseconds range. Compared to servo board designs, this product boasts of an unrivalled level of reliability. Its average mean time between failures is greater than 100,000 hours under proper operation.
