Product Description:

The Sanyo Denki PRS-3012C Servo Drive Board is a reliable and small board which is designed specially to control brushless servo motors such as BLDC and PMSM. It is developed to operate on 230 V AC and 15 A current. This drive has an efficiency of 93.2%, and a power factor of 0.96. PWM commutation of sinusoidal or trapezoidal modulation allows the drive to offer exceptional smoothness and precision while controlling motors. The drive facilitates direct operation of the industrial unit and is engineered to meet the requirements of various applications. It accepts analog commands, uses digital I/O for communication, and provides optional interfaces for flexible system interfacing. The drive can provide continuous current output of approximately 12 A or handle peak current of up to 30 A.

This drive is designed for easy mounting, which allows installation in a vertical or horizontal configuration. It can be mounted directly to a PCB and is designed to sync perfectly with embedded controllers. It enables the drive board to be directly mounted on the PCB, thereby conserving board space. If the drive is combined with an embedded controller system, it is suitable for small and efficient automation applications. This versatility, therefore, enables users to design more compact and efficient systems for motor controls.

For proper monitoring of the system, the PRS-3012C includes diagnostic tools which provide valuable system information. The PRS-3012C has a fault detection system incorporated into it, so it can detect potential glitches, including overcurrent or overheating. The PRS-3012C also has LED status lights, which enable the users to easily check how the drive is working. Such capabilities enhance the orderly, regular maintenance and timely solution of problems, thus leading to greater reliability and operational safety.
