Product Description:
Sanyo Denki produced the PRS-2198E Servo Amplifier for the purposes and applications of industrial automation. According to rating specifications, the device supports up to 15 Amperes of current flow. This unit contains built-in signal amplification together with signal filtering specifically designed for encoder signals.
The PRS-2198E servo amplifier offers connections for both analog and digital pulse signals. The shock tests expose the amplifier to a maximum level of 19.6 m/s². You will find easily readable alarm output terminals located on the front side of the unit. PRS-2198E provides two mounting options between custom brackets and DIN rail brackets. Users can make control adjustments to gain and offset, and tune by turning the potentiometers located on the panel. IGBT-based sinusoidal PWM control technology is used in the device for its operation. The PRS-2198E servo amplifier design includes a small PCB arrangement that ensures high signal quality. The device displays operational and diagnostic indicators using LED lights, which provide live information through its front panel. This amplifier is designed to function between a voltage supply ranging from 200 to 240 VAC. The device supports operation from zero to 1000 meters in altitude. This servo amplifier is used in industrial construction with stainless steel components.
The PRS-2198E servo amplifier supports operation together with optical incremental encoder systems. The amplifier operates under vibrations that reach 4.9 m/s² while functioning. It can operate with both single-phase and three-phase AC supply sources. The analog sections function by providing a regulated ±15V DC supply power. Users can operate the device with encoder resolutions at 1000 PPR and 2500 PPR. The device can be stored between -20°C and +65°C. It operates smoothly in atmospheric conditions with 90% humidity without producing condensation.
