The PMM-MD-23220-21 microstepping drive manufactured by Sanyo Denki is a PMM series drive. This drive controls the connected motor using a sinusoidal current waveform. The product uses Molex connectors for its connection to the motor. This device is a DC motor with 24 VDC voltage. The unit performs 200 micro steps across eight equal divisions. It is integrated with a photo coupler as its input. This drive moves in clockwise as well as counterclockwise directions.

The product features 50% or less pulse duty. This device uses the external limit resistor to prevent the input current from exceeding 15 mA when the input signal has a crest value of more than 5 V.
