Product Description
The PMM-BA-4803-2 is a two-phase stepping driver from Sanyo Denki for the accurate control of Stepping motor designs. This product is characterized by its ability to maintain smooth motor operation and low vibration even at low speeds. The motor designs compatible with the driver are simple double-shaft motors with dimensions of 42, 50, or 56 millimeters. The input current supply required by this driver is about 2 amperes per phase; it also requires an input voltage supply of between 100 to 115 volts. The input voltage should be delivered at a frequency of about 50 to 60 hertz. The enclosure of this stepping driver is able to provide protection against large foreign solids; however, there is still a need to ensure the driver is only used indoors, away from dust or water splashes.
The PMM-BA-4803-2 is equipped with integrated protection against overheating damage; its insulation resistance during operation is also measured to be about 10 megaohms. The stepping driver features an external signals input, which allows operators to select the DIP switch driver micro step or the rotary-driven micro step. There is also an automatic current down function that can be selected by operators of this product. The LED indicators integrated into the housing of this product allow for the monitoring of the power supply monitor, phase origin monitor, phase monitor and alarm monitor.
The PMM-BA-4803-2 frequency converter comes with a rotary switch setting which enables operators to set the driving current of the stepping motor from rated current to 0 per cent. The operating ambient temperature of this product is between 0 to about 50 degrees Celsius; during storage, ambient temperature should be maintained between -20 to 70 degrees Celsius. The vibration resistance level of this product is about 4.9 meters per second square.
