Product Description
PMDPC1S3P01 is a five-phase stepping driver from Sanyo Denki. It is designed for stepper motor control. It can be used with Sanyo stepper motors having 42, 50, 60, and 86 millimeter dimensions. This compact driver is light-weight and occupies 50% less volume compared to comparable products. It supports low-speed micro-stepping without vibration. The driver can work with numerous stepper motors without requiring adjustment. Operators can configure ten resolutions, ranging from 1 to 80 divisions, via the rotary switch. Dipswitches enable selection of modes, including two-input mode and direction and pulse mode. A rotary switch can be used to configure the motor current from the rated value to 55%. The PMDPC1S3P01 requires a 24 Volts DC power source that supplies 2 Amps current. Its ambient temperature for operation is from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius.
The conservation temperature range is from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius. Range for operating relative humidity is 35 to 85% and the range for storage relative humidity is from 10 to 90%. Weight of the device is approximately 0.12 kilograms. Supported I/O signals include command pulse input signal for photocoupler input with 330 Ohms input resistance and 440 kpulses/s input frequency. Height of the stepper drive is 68 millimeters, its width is 34 millimeters and its depth is 74 millimeters. The PMDPC1S3P01 is designed for vertical installation. Two M3 screws are required to mount it and these screws go through fitting holes on the bottom side of the unit. For the power source Sanyo recommends an AWG 20 power cable rated for 600 Volts and 105 degrees Celsius. For the I/O signal Sano recommends AWG 22 cable rated for 300 Volts and 105 degrees Celsius.
