The PMDPA1C3P20 Driver is a part of the PM Drivers series that is produced by Sanyo Denki. It ensures optimal operation in an industrial automation environment with its compact design and advanced technology.
The PMDPA1C3P20 driver is specifically designed to control and drive permanent magnet servo motors, which are used in systems that require precise and controlled movement. It uses a DC power supply of 24 volts with a tolerance of 10% which means the input voltage can vary between 21.6V and 26.4V and it can still function within this range. This module effectively works on 2.5 amperes to operate which specifies the amount of current drawn from the power source for the driver to work correctly. There are various safety and fault detection mechanisms built into this driver which protects it against voltage abnormalities, memory issues, position data overflow and encoder disconnection. This PM Drivers series series module is resistant to vibrations within a certain range of frequencies 10 to 55 Hz and can endure vibrations of 0.5 G along all three axes X, Y and Z for 2 hours .
The PMDPA1C3P20 driver communicates with other components using a 5 wire cable setup which includes 2 wires for signal transmission, 2 wires for the power source and a shielded wire to protect the signals from electrical interference. It also comes with a micro sized shielded connector, which helps reduce electrical noise interference and ensures the signal integrity is maintained. It is best designed to handle a 500 V AC voltage between the power input terminal and its enclosure for one minute without any issues which ensures protection against unexpected high voltage.
