Product Description:
The PDT-A02-15 Servo Drive is compatible with the PDT San Driver Servo Drives series. It features precise feedback control and PWM control for enhanced torque and it is designed by Sanyo Denki.
The PDT-A02-15 servo drive is relatively light, at 0.8 kg which makes it easier to handle and integrate into various industrial automation systems. It supports 23 bit encoders which means the system can track the motor’s position very precisely as higher the bit count, the greater the accuracy in tracking the motor’s position. 40 mm (W) x 160 mm (H) x 130 mm (D) are the physical dimensions of the servo drive, which helps to understand how much space is required for mounting the drive in an enclosure or system. The module provides high-speed response (up to 3.5 kHz) and enhanced torque with PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control which means the drive can adjust motor speed and torque at high frequencies. It tolerates up to 90% relative humidity without condensation and can work safely in ambient temperatures ranging from 0°C to 55°C. Its PWM control feature increases peak torque by ~7% at high speeds which suggests the model uses pulse-width modulation to regulate the motor's speed, which results in improved efficiency and torque.
The PDT-A02-15 servo drive comes with multiple input/output connections (AC1, AC2, AC3, etc.), which are the AC power inputs and output connections to the motor and are used to manage the motor’s power and communication with other control systems. The module is available in different models, each with a current capacity of 10 A, 20 A, 30 A, and 50 A which determines the maximum current the drive can deliver to the motor.
