Product Description:
The P60B18350BXNA2 is a servo motor produced by Sanyo Denki for the P6 Super BL Servo Motors series. This brushless motor uses a permanent-magnet excitation system to generate torque under continuous-duty operation, making it suitable for positioning and speed-regulated axes in industrial automation. Its design supports flange mounting on medium-frame machinery, providing a compact footprint while maintaining the mechanical rigidity required by modern production equipment.
At the flange interface, the motor face measures 180 mm, matching IEC size patterns and providing a predictable bolt circle for machine installation. The shaft delivers a rated mechanical output of 3.5 kW while the motor remains within its permitted temperature-rise limits. For rapid indexing moves, the rotor can operate at speeds up to 2000 rpm without exceeding the permitted speed range. Position feedback is supplied by an ABS-R II absolute sensor whose incremental channel provides a resolution of 8,192 divisions, allowing smooth interpolation in compatible digital drives. The enclosure has an IP67 protection rating, which guards internal components against dust and temporary water immersion. A shaft seal helps prevent coolant splashes from reaching the bearings. The motor does not include a holding brake, so an external mechanism or drive-applied torque must secure stationary loads when required.
The electrical insulation system supports operation with 400 V class drives. The winding has an insulation resistance of at least 10 MΩ at 500 VDC, indicating effective electrical isolation between the winding and frame. It also withstands a dielectric test of 1,500 VAC for 1 minute between the windings and frame. The output end has a 35 mm diameter shaft that accepts standard keyed couplings for positive torque transmission. The housing has an overall length of 169 mm, which reduces the installation depth required inside compact machinery. The motor does not include a supercapacitor, so absolute position retention depends on a compatible drive-side power-hold circuit when continuous position memory is required.
