As a standard motor that incorporates brushless technology, it converts drive commands into precise rotary motion for positioning tables, pick-and-place arms, and other automated axes. The built-in ABS-R II absolute sensor provides continuous position feedback to the drive controller. An internal supercapacitor preserves position data during brief power outages, allowing the axis to resume operation without performing another homing cycle. This feedback arrangement supports applications that require immediate position information after power is restored.
This model delivers a rated mechanical output of 2000 W at a nominal speed of 2,000 rpm, producing a continuous shaft torque of 9.5 N·m with a rated current of 15.5 Arms. Copper losses are limited by a phase resistance of 0.10 Ω, and current rises to its commanded value within an electrical time constant of 12 ms. The brushless motor has a torque constant of 0.69 N·m/Arms and a back-EMF voltage constant of 24.1 mV/rpm. An integrated 90 V holding brake engages when power is removed, helping secure vertical or load-bearing axes. The brake provides power-off shaft retention without changing the motor’s normal closed-loop operation while the drive is energized.
