Product Description:
The P60B13050HXS00 is a brushless AC servo motor built by Sanyo Denki for the P6 Super BL Servo Motors series. This standard-design motor converts drive current into precise shaft motion for positioning tables, pick-and-place axes, and other industrial automation tasks that demand repeatable torque delivery and fine speed control. Its integrated wiring-saving incremental encoder sends feedback to the controller while reducing cabling requirements, making the unit suitable for compact machines and densely arranged motion systems.
During operation, the encoder provides a positional resolution of 2000 pulses per revolution, allowing the drive to detect increments of 0.18 degrees during each revolution. A square 130 mm mounting flange provides the stiffness needed for secure installation, and this dimension corresponds to IEC sizing for compatible machine interfaces. The rotor can operate at up to 3000 rpm, supporting rapid traverse moves, while a maximum stall torque of 7.0 N·m provides substantial low-speed torque before synchronization is lost. Continuous current is limited to 4.5 A RMS, allowing the matching amplifier to be selected for the motor’s operating range. The phase resistance is 0.64 Ω, which affects copper losses during operation. An electrical time constant of 9.1 ms governs current rise, while a mechanical time constant of 1.3 ms indicates the motor’s speed response.
The motor delivers a rated output of 0.5 kW and a continuous shaft torque of 2.5 N·m. Its rotor inertia is 2.8 × 10^-4 kg·m², permitting quick acceleration without excessive control effort, while its torque constant of 0.65 N·m/A RMS relates commanded current to generated torque. The voltage constant is 22.5 mV/rpm, and the shaft has a diameter of 22 mm for coupling selection. With a mass of 4.7 kg, the motor can be included accurately in moving-axis load calculations. Its brushless construction eliminates commutator wear, and the motor is supplied without a holding brake, so an external locking device or drive-applied torque is required when the shaft must remain stationary after power is removed.
