As a permanent-magnet AC unit, it converts drive current into precisely regulated shaft torque for positioning tables, packaging axes, and general industrial motion systems. Its built-in, wiring-saving incremental encoder sends rotor position data to the controller, allowing closed-loop operation to maintain commanded trajectories without external sensors.
The motor is rated for a continuous mechanical output of 1000 W while operating at a nominal speed of 3,000 rpm. At that operating point, the shaft delivers 3.185 N·m of continuous torque and draws 6.7 A RMS from the matched amplifier. A torque constant of 0.553 N·m/A RMS links drive current directly to developed torque, simplifying gain settings in digital servo loops. These operating values allow the motor and amplifier to be matched to loads that require stable torque during continuous-duty motion.
