Product Description:
The P50B08075HXS21 is a brushless AC servo motor manufactured by Sanyo Denki within the P5 Super BL Servo Motors series. The motor uses electronic commutation to provide precise torque for indexing tables, pick-and-place arms, and similar automation axes. Its 80 mm square flange and flange-mounted design support installation in compatible mechanical layouts. An integral, wiring-saving incremental encoder supplies real-time shaft position data to the drive controller, reducing the number of conductors required for feedback. The motor is designed for continuous operation in production environments that require frequent motion cycles and limited maintenance interruptions.
The motor provides a rated output of 750 W during continuous operation. Its stator operates from a 200 VAC supply, and the shaft can reach a maximum speed of 3000 rpm when full velocity is commanded. Heat generated during operation is removed through self-cooling, so the motor does not require an external blower or liquid-cooling jacket. Position feedback comes from the wiring-saving incremental encoder, which provides a resolution of 2,000 pulses per revolution for responsive speed regulation and accurate positioning. The motor uses a flange interface and can fit an 80 mm or 86 mm square frame, providing flexibility when paired with compatible gearheads or direct-coupled loads. Its continuous-duty design allows the rated output to be maintained without time-based operating restrictions.
The windings withstand a 1,500 VAC test voltage for one minute, helping verify the integrity of the electrical insulation. Insulation resistance remains at 10 MΩ or higher at 500 VDC, supporting operation in industrial settings where moisture may be present. The excitation system uses permanent-magnet technology, which eliminates brush wear and provides high torque density. An oil seal is fitted at the shaft exit to help prevent lubricant leakage and limit contaminant entry around the rotating interface. The housing has an IP55 protection rating, which protects internal components against dust and low-pressure water jets. The motor does not include a holding brake, so an external brake or mechanical restraint must secure vertical loads when motor power is removed.
