The P50B07040HXS3B servo motor is produced by Sanyo Denki for the P5 Super BL Servo Motors series. This brushless unit converts electrical energy from a compatible drive into controlled mechanical rotation for positioning, indexing, and speed-regulated axes in automated machinery. Its permanent-magnet excitation system supports responsive torque control across repetitive motion cycles. The motor provides continuous torque for conveyors, pick-and-place arms, indexing tables, and similar industrial automation equipment.
The housing has a fully enclosed, self-cooling design, so ambient air passes over the finned frame without circulating through the motor. This arrangement protects the stator windings from airborne contaminants and eliminates the need for an internal fan. At a rated output of 400 W, the shaft maintains a constant speed of 3000 rpm during continuous operation, making the motor suitable for high-speed positioning tasks. The motor operates from a three-phase 200 VAC supply that is compatible with Sanyo Denki P5 servo amplifiers. A rear-mounted wiring-saved incremental encoder provides a feedback resolution of 2000 P/R, allowing the drive to command shaft increments as small as 0.18 degrees.
