The P50B07040HXN23 is a brushless AC servo motor produced by Sanyo Denki within the P5 Super BL Servo Motors series. It uses a permanent-magnet excitation system to supply closed-loop torque for position and speed control. The motor is intended for assembly robots, pick-and-place actuators, and other industrial axes that require a compact 400 W-class drive. Its brushless design eliminates brush wear, reducing routine maintenance in applications with frequent starts, stops, and direction changes.
At a rated output of 400 W, the motor can deliver continuous mechanical power without derating. Its dielectric strength is rated at 1500 VAC for one minute between the windings and frame. The winding set has insulation class F, allowing the stator insulation to withstand temperatures up to 155 °C. A voltage class of 200 VAC supports use with compatible servo amplifiers connected to common three-phase factory power systems. The motor reaches a maximum mechanical speed of 3000 rpm, supporting rapid movement in high-resolution positioning applications.
