Product Description:
The P50B07030DXNSC is a brushless servo motor manufactured by Sanyo Denki within the P5 Super BL Servo Motors series. Designed for precision axis control in industrial automation, the unit combines a 76 mm flange with an integral ABS-R II absolute sensor to deliver direct position feedback without an additional encoder. It is supplied without a holding brake, and the design does not include an internal supercapacitor for power-off energy storage, so external measures must be used when motion retention is required during a power failure.
During continuous operation, the motor supplies a mechanical output of 300 W while turning at a rated speed of 3,000 rpm. At this operating point, it produces 0.931 N·m of torque, and the surrounding drive system must provide a three-phase supply in the 200 VAC class. With a torque constant of 0.483 N·m/Arms, each ampere of armature current creates nearly half a newton-meter of torque, simplifying current-loop tuning. The 2.9 Ω phase resistance limits inrush current, the rated power rate reaches 17.7 kW/s for fast acceleration, and the continuous stall torque is 0.98 N·m when airflow is static. Position data is resolved into 8,192 divisions by the onboard sensor, providing fine incremental control for servo regulators.
The peak shaft speed reaches 4,500 rpm, and the motor can withstand a maximum stall torque of 2.94 N·m during brief loads without demagnetization. An electrical time constant of 3.8 ms means that current reaches 63% of its final value quickly, supporting rapid torque modulation during indexing movements. The housing carries an IP55 rating, providing protection against harmful dust deposits and low-pressure water jets in typical machinery enclosures. Its P5 mount pattern also supports mechanical integration with compatible drive systems, while the absolute sensor supplies position information directly to a high-response digital servo drive.
