Product Description:
The P50B05020DXSAJM servo motor is produced by Sanyo Denki within the P5 Super BL Servo Motors series. It is a compact brushless actuator that combines stator windings, rotor magnets, and an incremental feedback device inside one enclosure to deliver responsive, controlled rotation. In automated assembly cells, electronic packaging lines, or laboratory instruments, the motor pairs with a matching amplifier to position loads precisely while limiting heat and audible noise. Its brushless architecture reduces maintenance requirements and supports continuous operation where repeatable torque and speed accuracy are required.
The motor has a rated output of 200 W and delivers 0.637 N·m of torque at 3,000 rpm. This operating point requires an armature current of 1.6 Arms through a phase resistance of 3.4 Ω. The torque constant is 0.436 N·m/Arms, indicating the torque produced for each ampere of armature current. The winding has an electrical time constant of 2.9 ms, while the rotor has a mechanical time constant of 0.9 ms, allowing the motor to respond rapidly to control changes. A power rate of 24.2 kW/s supports quick acceleration, and the wire-saving incremental encoder provides 2,000 pulses per revolution for motion feedback. Continuous stall torque is 0.686 N·m at an armature current of 1.7 Arms.
During transient operation, the actuator delivers a peak torque of 1.96 N·m and tolerates a surge current of 5.5 Arms until its thermal limits are reached. Shaft speed extends up to 4,500 rpm, supporting rapid motion under lighter loads. The rotor inertia is 1.73 × 10⁻⁵ kg·m², which helps the motor accelerate and decelerate quickly during start-stop cycles. A 54 mm square flange supports direct installation with compatible compact gearheads and machine interfaces. The motor carries CE and UL certifications for use in equipment intended for multiple regions. The model is supplied without a holding brake, so an external restraint is required when the load must remain stationary after power is removed.
