Product Description:
The P50B05010DXVT2 is a brushless servo motor developed by Sanyo Denki for the P5 Super BL Servo Motors series. Delivering 100 W of mechanical power, it is intended for closed-loop motion axes that require repeatable positioning and moderate continuous torque. The motor is suitable for compact industrial automation equipment that needs controlled speed, torque, and position. Its brushless design reduces mechanical wear associated with commutators and supports consistent operation during repetitive motion cycles.
During continuous operation, the motor produces 0.319 N·m of shaft torque at a rated speed of 3000 rpm while drawing a phase current of 1.1 Arms. Control margins are broadened by a peak current capability of 3.7 Arms and a torque constant of 0.319 N·m/Arms, which relates commanded current to developed torque. Winding temperature rise is moderated by a phase resistance of 4.9 Ω. The motor can produce a peak torque of 0.98 N·m and a stall torque of 0.353 N·m. Its maximum rotor speed is 4500 rpm, providing additional speed capacity above the continuous operating point. The back electromotive-force constant is 11.1 mV/min⁻¹, supporting operation with low-voltage inverters used in compact machinery.
The attached precision gearbox scales the motor output for applications that require lower speed and higher load torque. Its reduction ratio of 1/11 lowers the output speed to a rated value of 273 rpm and raises continuous output torque to 2.8 N·m, with short-term peaks reaching 8.6 N·m. The gear stage adds 1.6 kg to the assembly and fits a 54 mm mounting flange without altering the motor profile. The motor has no holding brake, so static loads must be secured externally when power is removed. An ABS-R II detector supplies absolute position data to the control system. An internal supercapacitor preserves this position information during power outages without requiring an external encoder battery.
