As a standard-design motor, it uses a wiring-saving incremental encoder to return rotor position to the drive, enabling closed-loop position and speed control in automated pick-and-place axes, compact gantries, or indexing tables. A 54 mm square mounting flange and an 8 mm shaft allow the unit to couple directly to small gearheads or pulleys without custom adapters.
During continuous duty, the motor delivers a mechanical output of 100 W while producing a shaft speed of 3,000 rpm. At that operating point, it supplies 0.319 N·m of torque and draws an armature current of 1.1 Arms. Copper losses are limited by a phase-to-phase resistance of 4.9 Ω, allowing thermal headroom inside small control cabinets. The rotor inertia of 0.101 × 10-4 kg·m² supports rapid starts and stops without excessive overshoot, while the encoder resolution of 2,000 pulses per revolution gives the drive fine velocity granularity.
