The P50B04006DXS0N servo motor is manufactured by Sanyo Denki as part of the P5 Super BL Servo Motors series. It is a brushless permanent-magnet unit intended to provide precise speed and torque control for small actuators, pick-and-place modules, and other light-duty axes in industrial automation lines. Its compact flange and low rotor inertia make it suitable for fast, repetitive positioning tasks. The motor’s brushless design also eliminates mechanical commutator wear during frequent acceleration and deceleration cycles.
During continuous operation at its rated point, the motor delivers 60 W of mechanical output at a shaft speed of 3,000 rpm. It produces a rated torque of 0.191 N·m while drawing a phase current of 0.7 Arms. These values represent the permitted thermal steady-state operating range of the Class F insulation system. For zero-speed holding, it can sustain 0.216 N·m of continuous stall torque without overheating, and the corresponding continuous stall current is 0.76 Arms. Its phase resistance is 10.4 Ω, which influences the voltage required from the drive. Position feedback is supplied through a wiring-saved incremental encoder, allowing the drive to monitor rotor movement for closed-loop control.
