Product Description:
The P50B04005JCP00 is a compact AC servo motor produced by Sanyo Denki for its P5 Super BL Servo Motors series. This model delivers precise shaft positioning and speed regulation for pick-and-place arms, indexing tables, and other motion axes that rely on feedback-controlled torque. Its compact mounting interface connects to miniature gearheads or linear stages, allowing the motor to fit within restricted spaces. The motor is designed to operate with the manufacturer’s compatible servo amplifiers, which regulate torque and speed through closed-loop feedback. This arrangement supports controlled acceleration, deceleration, and positioning in small automated machines.
The brake coil is rated at 24 VDC and can be connected to a suitable external power supply for operation of the stopping mechanism. Thermal management is provided by a fully enclosed, self-cooling housing, which allows heat to dissipate through the frame without an auxiliary fan. The enclosed design also helps prevent airborne particles from entering the stator cavity during normal use. Torque is produced by a permanent-magnet excitation system that avoids field-winding losses and supports responsive motion during rapid reversals. Mechanical alignment is provided by a 42 mm square flange, which helps maintain concentricity between the shaft and the connected load. The motor has an IP40 ingress protection rating, providing protection against solid objects larger than 1 mm but no protection against water. It should therefore be installed in a clean, dry area that is protected from moisture and liquid spray.
The motor provides a continuous mechanical output of 50 W, making it suitable for light conveyors, compact positioning mechanisms, and vision-guided actuators. Installation uses a flange-type mounting arrangement, with four face bolts transferring radial and axial forces into the machine frame. The winding insulation resistance is at least 10 MΩ when 500 VDC is applied between the conductors and the frame. This resistance helps maintain electrical isolation between energized windings and exposed metal surfaces during operation. The motor has a vibration severity class of V15, supporting use in equipment exposed to frequent starts, stops, and routine machine vibration. Proper shaft alignment and secure mounting help prevent unnecessary bearing loads when the motor is connected to a gearbox, pulley, or coupling.
