Product Description:
The P50B03003DXLEC is a brushless servo motor manufactured by Sanyo Denki for the P5 Super BL Servo Motors series. This compact rotary actuator is intended for point-to-point positioning and speed-regulated axes in industrial automation. Its permanent-magnet, electronically commutated design provides closed-loop precision while reducing the maintenance associated with brushes and other wearing components.
The motor attaches through a flange measuring 35 mm, allowing direct coupling to small gearboxes or machine frames without additional adapters. Its rated mechanical output is 30 W, which is suitable for light-duty positioning tasks such as pick-and-place heads and miniature conveyor sections. The windings operate with a supply in the 200 VAC class, allowing the unit to run from compatible servo drives without step-down transformers. Under commands from the drive, the shaft can reach a maximum speed of 4500 rpm, accommodating fast indexing while retaining controlled operation at the lower speeds used during settling routines. Heat is removed through a fully enclosed, self-cooling design, so the motor does not require airflow from the surrounding machine space. The motor uses Type F insulation, which permits a maximum winding temperature of 155 °C. Because the motor has no holding brake, mechanical clamps or drive torque must secure vertical loads when power is removed.
An enclosure rating of IP40 protects internal components from contact with fingers and small tools, but liquid splashes must be avoided because the shaft does not have a seal. Insulation resistance remains above 10 MΩ at 500 VDC, indicating effective electrical isolation between conductive parts. The stator withstands 1500 VAC for one minute between the windings and frame, providing the required dielectric integrity for operation. The motor has a continuous-duty rating and uses flange mounting for secure attachment to compact machinery. Its vibration grade is V15, and the unit is supplied without a shaft seal or holding brake.
