Product Description:
The P50B03003ACL7W servo motor is produced by Sanyo Denki within the P5 Super BL Servo Motors series. This compact brushless unit delivers controlled rotary motion for positioning systems and light-duty drive axes in industrial automation. By combining a permanent-magnet excitation system with electronic commutation, the motor supplies repeatable torque while requiring less maintenance than brushed designs. Its fully enclosed construction supports reliable continuous operation in small machines, including compact assembly equipment, material-handling systems, and other applications that require accurate motion.
The motor provides 30 W of continuous mechanical output at a nominal shaft speed of 3,000 rpm. At this operating point, it produces a steady torque of 0.098 N·m for controlled movement under a continuous load. Heat generated during operation is removed through a self-cooling system, eliminating the need for an external fan and simplifying installation in confined spaces. A protection rating of IP40 prevents solid objects larger than 1 mm from reaching internal components. The integral holding brake prevents the shaft from being back-driven when motor power is removed, which helps secure stationary loads. Flange mounting provides a rigid mechanical interface for attaching the motor to a machine frame, gearbox, or compatible coupling assembly.
The brake coil operates at 24 V, allowing it to work with common low-voltage control circuits used in industrial machinery. The front face has a 35 mm flange register that aligns the motor accurately with compatible gearheads or couplings. Its electrical insulation withstands a dielectric test of 1,500 VAC for one minute, providing adequate separation between energized conductors and the motor housing. Vibration tolerance conforms to class V15, supporting stable operation in machinery exposed to moderate dynamic loads. The motor does not have a shaft seal, so it should be installed in a clean enclosure that is protected from oil spray, excessive moisture, and other contaminants that could reach the shaft opening.
