As a compact rotary actuator, it converts drive current into precise torque for indexing tables, electronic assembly pick heads, and other light-duty axes found in industrial automation cells. The unit uses permanent-magnet excitation and an internal electronic commutation system, so it delivers stable speed control without brush wear. An installed holding brake secures the shaft whenever power is removed, providing position retention for vertical loads and fine-pitch mechanisms.
