Product Description:

The MC1K-U100V is a highly compatible motion controller designed uniquely by Sanyo Denki under the impressive K-motion product line. With built-in compensation functions and adaptive indexing options, this device makes the automation of servo or stepper motors a lot more convenient. With robust support for single-axis motion control, the MC1K-U100V acts as a precise motor controller, power source, and servo amplifier. It allows communication with PLC and industrial PCs using PLC and HPC links. Depending on the communication link used, the transfer rate may vary. For PLC-connected devices, the maximum transfer rate is 57.6 kbps. On the other hand, when the HPC link is utilized, transfer speeds of up to 625 kbps are supported.

Depending on the nature of the application, the MC1K-U100V can adjust its indexing for motion control. For single commands, the module allocates 16 index points. While for advanced BCD commands, the typical index points can go as high as 700. As mentioned earlier, the MC1K-U100V supports various compensation functions during operation. The most common compensation functions supported by the MC1K-U100V are the external positioning function, one-way indexing function, and indexing position compensation function. Using these compensation functions, the device can operate in an open-loop configuration and still attain low error rates.

Aside from the compensation functions supported by the MC1K-U100V, other functions such as jog, current limit, stored stroke limit, endless operation, and motor power off functions are also supported. This device can also dynamically control the acceleration and deceleration of the connected servo motor. With this programmable controller, the acceleration/deceleration can be configured linearly or with an S slope. This K-motion controller comes with a valid one-year warranty when procured from Wake Industrial.
