The E500500C00B is a high-speed absolute encoder. It is made for demanding high-accuracy position feedback. It offers a combined resolution of up to 33 bits, providing extremely high positional resolution. Dual output channels at 90° phase shift enable the encoder to offer incremental feedback capability and absolute positioning.

Dual capability enables integration into applications requiring high-resolution feedback and direction sensing. Two supply voltage inputs at +5V DC or a universal range of +11 to +27V DC are supported, providing flexibility for integration into a range of control systems. The encoder is supported for use with a range of output configurations—Push-Pull, Open Collector, and Open Emitter—utilizing a maximum voltage of 35 V, providing engineers with a range of options to achieve signal requirements. Power dissipation remains low below 4 watts. It maintains operating temperatures in check and efficiency optimized. The maximum output current is 100 mA rated. It features short circuit protection to avoid wiring faults or misconnection. Logic levels are clearly defined, with "0" below +2 VDC and "1" above +8 VDC, up to a maximum of 30 VDC.
