Product Description:

The 101-7801-4 is an industrial automation brushless absolute encoder with high precision. The encoder is manufactured by Sanyo Denki. It is mainly employed for servo system position feedback with accuracy. The encoder provides exact angular position feedback, which makes it suitable for use in motion control systems.

The 101-7801-4 Encoder works under an input voltage of 10V and an excitation frequency of 8 kHz. It employs a brushless resolver type of design with longer life as well as maintenance-free operation. The resolver technology provides improved robustness against harsh industrial conditions. It offers absolute position encoding to enable the position to be retained during power loss. The encoder is contained in a harsh-duty aluminum housing for maximum mechanical protection. The storage operating temperature range is -20°C to +85°C for flexible storage configurations. The shaft diameter and bore of 101-7801-4 Encoder are compatible with standard industrial motor configurations. It has an operating temperature of -10°C to +60°C. It has vibration resistance up to 10 to 55 Hz with 1.5 mm double amplitude. Electrical insulation resistance is 100 MΩ minimum at 500 VDC between housing and circuit. It can bear shock loads up to 490 m/s² (50G) without functional degradation. Dielectric strength is 500 VAC for one minute between housing and circuit.

The 101-7801-4 Encoder can function optimally with humidity conditions of 20% to 85% non-condensing. The output is sine-cosine analog signals compatible with control systems. It has a multi-turn absolute position sensing mechanism for high accuracy. This encoder provides a high resolution of up to 12 bits per revolution. Its rotational speed tolerance is up to 6000 RPM for continuous operation. Its elevation tolerance is up to 2000 meters above sea level. This encoder has industrial IP compliance, with dust and light moisture resistance.
