Product Description
GADSE02LA22 is a high-performance digital servo amplifier. It is produced by Sanyo Denki as part of its industrial solutions equipment. The amplifier works to control a connected servo motor. The combination of the amplifier and the servo motor is well suited to a wide range for industrial applications. Input type on the amplifier is analog/pulse. If required, operators can order Sanmotion G series amplifiers with an EtherCAT interface. Regenerative resistors are available on Sanmotion G amplifiers. This feature is not available on the GADSE02LA22 amplifier and an external resistor can be used if required. Safe torque off (STO) is a safety feature that is available on the amplifier. Sinking type general-purpose output are available. Voltage class of the amplifier is 100 Volts AC. Only single-phase AC mains can be used.
Sanyo setup software for servo amplifiers is available on their website. This software can be used to configured the GADSE02LA22 amplifier for speed, torque or position control. IGBT based PWM control technology is used on the device for motor control. Ideally an external noise filter can be used to suppress noise present in power lines, and a circuit breaker can be used to protect the amplifier from power supply anomalies. Both of these items must be supplied by the operator. Approximate weight and dimensions of the servo amplifier are 0.8 kilograms and 160 x 40 x 130 millimeters. Output capacity of the amplifier is 20 Amps and its peak motor output is 400 Watts. Value of the minimum allowed external resistance is 25 Ohms. Sanyo recommends 0 to 60 degrees Celsius ambient temperature and up to 2000 meters altitude for Sanmotion G servo amplifiers.
