Sanyo Denki designed the GADSA03AA22 as their Servo Amplifier model for industrial automation. The amplifier operates on single-axis control. A user can achieve position control together with speed control and torque control with these functionalities. Users can select the different functions using adjustable parameters.
The GADSA03AA22 servo amplifier operates using a control system that generates PWM signals through an IGBT-based sinusoidal signal pattern. The servo amplifier works perfectly for demanding motion precision control operations. The main circuit of this amplifier requires power input from either 200 VAC single-phase or 300 VDC. The control circuit accepts power from 200 to 240 VAC of electricity. The GADSA03AA22 servo amplifier contains a regenerative resistance that is integrated within the product. The amplifier maintains high operational energy efficiency through its built-in feature. As a general-purpose output and a Safe Torque Off (STO) function, the amplifier operates with a sinking-type configuration. This enhances safety during use. The amplifier operates with a power range that extends to both 10% above and 15% under the set values. The unit accepts inputs from 300 VDC voltage while tolerating variations between -/+20 % of the required level. The amplifier's capacity reaches up to 30 A.
The GADSA03AA22 servo amplifier works effectively when the operating temperature ranges from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. It functions in environments that maintain up to 95% RH as long as condensation does not occur. The amplifier exhibits strong durability because it retains its IP67 rating, which enables it to resist both dust and complete water submersion. The 0.90 kg unit supports motional inertia that can reach ten times the rotor inertia value of the motor. The embedded generative resistor carries a resistance value of 25 ohms under operation, while the maximum power usage remains at 5W. This amplifier uses an analog/pulse interface for industrial use in different applications.
