The SH5281-7211, a 5-phase stepping motor for fine movement precise control, is produced by Sanyo Denki in F SANMOTION Stepping Motors series. It comes with a 0.75 A per phase rated current to provide stable and accurate motor operation to meet the applications that demand fine position controls.

The SH5281-7211 possesses a 0.041 Nm static torque rating and is well rotating and smooth torque. Its internal parts are protected against solid bodies by its IP40 protection class, and therefore it is more stable in structured environments. The motor can be satisfactorily applied in the ambient temperature range of -10 to +50°C, and its storage temperature is good with -20 to +65°C. For stable usage preparation, the SH5281-7211 is conditioned for use at ambient humidities of 20% to 90% RH (non-condensing). Its broad vibration resistance is 10 to 500 Hz, with an amplitude of 1.52 mm in the range 10-70 Hz and acceleration of 150 m/s² in the range 70-500 Hz for dynamic stability. It is also shock resistant and can endure 500 m/s² shock for 11 ms and has been tested with the half sine wave test as well. Its accuracy in position is also in extremely close proximity at ±0.09° to allow very precise positioning on highly precise equipment. Its thrust play is also restricted to 0.075 mm or less in a load of 10 N to avoid mechanical backlash.
