The Sanyo Denki BL Super Servo Motors series is a legacy family of brushless AC servo motors developed for closed-loop industrial motion systems.
Introduced in 1980, the series represents SANYO DENKI’s early brushless AC servo platform and predates the later SANMOTION AC servo families. The motors were intended to operate with matched BL Super servo amplifiers as part of an integrated motor-and-drive system for controlled speed and position operation. As a brushless AC design, the series was positioned to avoid the brush and commutator-related limitations associated with earlier brushed motor systems. The BL Super Servo Motors series is most relevant in legacy equipment where replacement motor hardware must remain compatible with the original amplifier, feedback, and machine integration scheme.
