Product Description:

The BA010FXRE-20 is a cost-effective servo amplifier, designed and patented by Sanyo Denki for lightweight applications and servo systems. As part of the BL Super servo amplifier series, this compact amplifier is fit for transient applications requiring a fast-response drive. The BA010FXRE-20 comes with a well-designed chassis, which allows it to dissipate heat efficiently during operation. The metal chassis protects the internal board of the servo amplifier from both dust and moisture. The peripheral ports and terminals of the BA010FXRE-20 can be accessed on the front panel, together with the dedicated alarm and status LEDs.

To establish closed-loop control of the servomotor during operation, the servo drive must be connected to the motor encoder. Additionally, the servomotor can be connected to a larger controller or host device. A set of protection devices can also be connected externally through the amplifier’s terminal block. The BA010FXRE-20, particularly, can support modern host controllers, industrial PCs, noise filters, and external regenerative resistor units. The BA010FXRE-20’s CN6 port can be used to connect the main controller or host device. The CN7 port and CN1 port, on the other hand, are designed for other signal inputs, such as the motor encoder.

The BA010FXRE-20 also features an adjustable gain, speed scale, and zero adjust. With this set of adjustment pots, the user can fine-tune the servo behavior during operation. Another unique feature of this drive is its adjustable fuses. Specifically, the BA010FXRE-20 contains two knobs for dynamically adjusting the overcurrent protection rating of the amplifier. In Incase of power surges, these fuses are easily replaceable. Like most servo amplifiers by Sanyo Denki, the BA010FXRE-20 can operate at an ambient relative humidity of up to 90% and a temperature of up to 55 degrees Celsius.
