Product Description

The PY2A030A3AL is a servo amplifier with a high-class performance from Sanyo Denki. The servo amplifier has a one-phase input with 10A current rating, 200VAC to 230VAC voltage rating and 50/60Hz frequency. The unit features a three-phase output with 5.2A current rating, 0V to 326V voltage rating and 8kHz frequency. It supports an auto-tuning function using a remote operator or the setup software to help in operating the motor. After unpacking the servo amplifier, it must be first checked for physical damage before commencing installation and operation.

If the amplifier is to be installed in an enclosure, then the dimensions of the box, panel layout, and cooling method must be checked to ensure that the ambient temperature is less than 55°C. The PY series servo unit must always be installed vertically because it deploys a convection cooling mechanism. The device dissipates power when it is operated with the motor. The amplifier must always be used in a dust-free and oil-free environment. It should be connected as close as possible to the motion controller and the noise filters to lessen the signal strength for minimum noise effects. The bus power cable features 14AWG size.

The amplifier does not feature any internal regeneration of power. It is equipped with a 7-segment display along with a charge LED and a power LED that help to display the alarm conditions and operating status. The device can be configured and tested using the remote operator. When the amplifier is not being operated, it must be stored in a temperature range of -20°C to +65°C. The unit dissipates 32W power when it is used with the P30B06040D servo motor and 45W with the P30B08075D servo motor from the manufacturer.
