Product Description:
The SN41HLYY-LNK-NS-00 is a synchronous motor produced by Pacific Scientific for the Powersync Synchronous Motors series. As a constant-speed actuator, it converts fixed-frequency, single-phase power into mechanical rotation suited for indexing tables, conveyors, or other equipment that requires precise speed at 60 Hz. The splash-proof terminal board has a 1/2-inch NPS conduit thread that simplifies wiring into sealed enclosures. The heavy-duty NEMA mount allows direct attachment to industrial frames.
The motor is rated for a supply of 120 V AC; this line voltage matches common facility power and eliminates the need for a step-down transformer. A maximum RMS phase current of 0.8 A limits heat rise in the stator windings and helps with fuse selection. The electrical response is influenced by a phase inductance of 334 mH, which moderates current surges during line energization. A phase resistance of 21 Ω contributes to copper losses under steady load. The motor has a pull-out torque of 1045 oz-in, and the shaft remains synchronized with the supply until the applied load exceeds this threshold.
During continuous operation, the shaft can deliver a rated output torque of 715 oz-in, providing usable torque below the pull-out threshold to support thermal stability. The synchronous speed is 72 rpm, based on the 60 Hz input and internal pole configuration, so downstream gearing is unnecessary when this slow rotational speed is required. A NEMA 42 frame measures 4.325 inches square, provides ample surface area for heat dissipation, and matches standard gearhead adapters. When the rotor is de-energized, its detent torque of 42 oz-in can hold light loads in position without electrical power. The motor is suitable for machinery that requires a constant low speed directly from a fixed-frequency supply.
