Product Description

The P21NRXB-LNS-NS-05 is a high performance Powermax II Series Hybrid Step Motor manufactured by Pacific Scientific. Incorporating oversized bearings, large rotor diameters, high-voltage insulation, high-energy magnets, and windings, it provides an extended holding torque and high speed. Part Number indicates different specifications of the motor like its type, size, number of stacks, mounting, construction, termination, winding type, rotor type, shaft configuration/modification, encoder option and sequence number. It is a NEMA 23 (60 mm) motor designed to provide precise, extremely cost-effective motion control. It can position the load quickly and hold it on desired rotor steps. It is a two-phase motor with no feedback and moves in 1.8° increments (200 steps per revolution). The stator is enclosed in polymer for exceptional thermal dissipation which enhances motor life and reduces its downtime. Polymer end bell remain cool significantly even you set the RPM at high level. The threaded inserts of end bell allow you mount encoder and brake options easily. NEMA Class B, 130°C insulation allows dependable operation in any environment. Its insulation resistance is 100 Mega Ohms at 500V DC and 25°C. The operating temperature ranges from -20 to 40°C.

The optional low inertia rotary system makes it suitable for high frequency reciprocating motion use. Incorporating a shaft with largest diameter in its class, your motor can hold high radial and axial loads. With 0.79Nm of holding torque, you will not find a more powerful two-inch step motor. The rotor is laminated and features Neodymium-iron-boron magnets for high energy and reliable output. It comes with Protection Class IP-23 and is backed by the manufacturer's warranty for one year.
