The M21NSHS-LNN-NS-02 stepper motor from Pacific Scientific is a lightweight, cost-efficient alternative to the use of servo motors. Each represents the most advanced engineering capabilities available through Pacific Scientific, all contained in the NEMA 23 frame type. Every M21NSHS-LNN-NS-02, a member of the POWERMAX II family of motors, has been enhanced with Sigmax technology, an improvement upon conventional motors that distinguishes the M21NSHS-LNN-NS-02 from its competition. Motors enhanced with Sigmax offer superior torque generation and less loss in operation relative to conventional motor designs, giving you not only the most bang for your buck, but also charging you a smaller quantity of bucks over time for comparable tasks.

M21NSHS-LNN-NS-02 stepper motors feature a single stack rotor design and a smooth, laminated motor shaft that ensures the utmost in efficiency at high speeds by reducing the system’s cumulative frictional load. These motors consistently deliver extremely accurate motion control: a non-cumulative error of plus or minus 1.5% of a 1.8 degree step under no load conditions is the absolute worst you can expect of the M21NSHS-LNN-NS-02--and, all things told, relative to conventionally braked motors that is no great error.

The delivery mechanism for this specialized piece of machine equipment, its motor shaft, is rated to endure up to 20 pounds of radial load or 13 pounds of axial and can be expected to maintain operating conditions up to those limits.
