Product Description:

The PMB33F-10100-00 is a cost-effective servo motor series produced by Pacific Scientific for indoor operation in automation systems. This motor has a brushless design and uses special neodymium iron-boron magnets to produce the excitation it needs for operation. The unique design of this brushless motor unit makes it perfectly suited for speed and position control applications that require high acceleration and torque supply. Typical machines where this motor is compatible include textile, robotic, and food processing machines. Unlike conventional motors manufactured by Pacific Scientific, this motor unit is vulnerable to foreign interference common in industrial environments; its enclosure only provides protection that meets the IP40 classification. The PMB33F-10100-00 synchronous motor gets rid of excess heat directly through its housing surface; however, the natural convection used to do this can be made less efficient by an accumulation of dust on the surface of the motor.
