It is intended for closed-loop velocity or position control, where commanded current is converted into proportional torque for axes on pick-and-place stations, indexing tables, or packaging machinery. The motor uses a laminated steel core and stator windings sized for moderate-inertia applications, which supports quick reversal and tight following control in compact machine layouts. This arrangement helps the axis respond cleanly during repeated starts, stops, and direction changes.
With a frame size of NEMA Size 34, the motor uses flange and pilot dimensions common in many servo installations. On a supply of up to 240 VAC, the windings draw a nominal stall current of 7.4 ARMS, and that current marks the point where heat rise becomes the main operating limit.
