Product Description:

The Pacific Scientific’s motor PMB31D-00201-02 is designed for high torque density through its installed Boron and Neodymium magnetic structure of eight pole pairs. It supports an aluminum heatsink mount of measurement 10" x 10" x 1/4" for effective cooling, along with a recorded dissipation value of 0.4667 h to maintain ambient thermal range. This motor operates up to 100°C of winding temperature.

The PMB31D-00201-02 motor comes in a length size of 5.28 inches and possess a simple flat shaft that is 0.4998 inches thick x 1.250 inches long. It provides a peak stationary torque of 55.4 lb-in and a steady torque of 18.7 lb-in. The motor has rated operational speed of 6000 r/min and it uses 5.1 A of steady current along with an overload current of maximum value 15.3 A. Its inductance between two lines is 0.0052 H and it features an inertia of 1.370 kg·cm². This PMB motor incorporates MS plug connectors for safe wiring, while provides 18 AWG of cable for power wiring and 26 AWG as feedback connecting wire in the same lengths of 457 mm. It is built with a 3.4 inches of flat mounting face and weighs approx. 5.5 lbs. The unit’s viscous damping factor is rated at 0.110 lb.-in./kRPM and its heat resistance is 1.08 °C/Watt, while its maximum friction is measured as 0.80 lb-in.

The PMB31D-00201-02 motor uses Hall transducer for effective and real time feedback. It operates on 240V AC three-phase power, its speed reduces to 85% with a single-phase 240V AC input and to 40% with 120V AC single-phase. This PMB motor offers a turning effect constant of nearly 3.67 lb-in for every 1 A of usage and its back EMF stands at 26.40 V/Krpm. It is fully compatible with PC8x4 drives and possess inbuilt PTC thermistor for thermal protection.
