The PMB31D-00114-02 is a cost-effective brushless servomotor from Pacific Scientific in its B Series of motors. The synchronous motor is compatible with PC8x4, SC903 and PC3406 servo drives. The brushless unit is housed in a frame size of NEMA 34 with an IP40 construction style and exposed-lam design. The unit operates at a maximum bus voltage of 240VAC or 320VDC at an ambient temperature of 25°C. It is recommended to mount the motor using four #6 socket lead cap screws or fillister lead cap screws.
The eight-pole synchronous motor has a D type winding with a nominal stall current of 5.4A and multiple stack length. The synchronous motor features a line-to-line resistance of 2.3 Ohms and a line-to-line inductance of 5.2mH. The motor 5.28 inches black colored motor is compact and lightweight with a weight of just 2.5kg. It has a thermal time constant of 28 minutes, maximum static friction of 0.09Nm and a viscose damping coefficient of 0.0124Nm/kRPM.
