Product Description:

The PMB31B-10201-03 motor unit is a small and extremely efficient motor unit built with an IP40 housing that has a NEMA 34 size and can be easily integrated into servo systems. To operate this industrial motor unit at its highest standard, it should be connected to a compatible drive controller from the same manufacturer. Surrounding conditions should also meet the instructions in the documentation shipped with the motor. The magnet responsible for the excitation of this servo motor unit is made from neodymium-iron-boron material. This magnet is lightweight and is able to produce a high torque while maintaining low inertia. The PMB31B-10201-03 motor design is vulnerable to high humidity levels, water condensation and relative humidity higher than 75 per cent should be avoided around the unit.

The shaft used to transfer torque from the PMB31B-10201-03 to industrial machines is a round shaft. This shaft sealings double shielded bearings with a long service life of at least 20,000 hours. The operation of the motor is transmitted to a digital signal by a hall sensor installed inside the motor. The sensor communicates to the controller using a special feedback cable integrated with the motor through a connection interface present on top of its housing. Attached to the winding of the motor is a PTC thermistor which provides information about the winding temperature, allowing the controller to prevent overheating in the motor.

The PMB31B-10201-03 synchronous motor operates with a nominal standstill current of 2.7 amperes, its maximum output torque is about 6.26 newton meters. This product maintains a thermal time constant of 28 minutes, and the total weight is also estimated to be about 2.5 kilograms. The average thermal resistance in this motor is about 1.08 degrees Celsius per watt.
