Product Description:

The PMB31B-10116-02 is a small, durable and extremely reliable brushless motor unit characterized by its reduced noise during operation and its ability to maintain an operation efficiency level as high as 95 per cent during its operation. This servo motor design is produced by Pacific Scientific. It comes with an > that is designed to be installed indoors. The motor requires operation in combination with a drive controller designed by the same manufacturer; it also requires a surrounding ambient temperature of between 0 to about 45 degrees to reduce the risk of overheating. The magnetic material responsible for the excitation of its rotor is made from a neodymium-iron-boron magnet, which is renowned for its high degree of temperature resistance.

Although the design of this motor already reduces the risk of overheating, there is a PTC thermistor installed inside its winding to serve as a feedback that provides controllers with information on the current winding temperature status. The current and feedback cables used by this industrial motor unit are not delivered with it. These cables are ready-made accessories produced by the manufacturers and available for customers who need them. It can place a separate order for them. There are two AMP connector interfaces present on this servo motor unit; the connectors match the protection class of the motor and ensure the seamless integration of the motor.
