Product Description:

Pacific Scientific is the manufacturer of PPC-020401-025 which is a Cable. This module belongs to the Pacific Scientific Cables series. It offers stable operation under continuous load conditions in the industrial automation applications.

The PPC-020401-025 Cable is equipped with connectors (specifically fork/spade terminals) that allow it to be quickly and securely screwed into place on common electrical blocks used in industrial panels. It comes in an approximate length of 3–5 meters and it is coiled with zip ties for packaging. It is included with separate conductors each ending in a fork terminal with red insulation for added safety and color coding. The thickness of each conductor inside the cable is 16 AWG and it supports moderate electrical loads and is commonly used in control systems, signal transmission or low power devices. One side of the cable ends in terminals shaped like forks (spade connectors), which are useful for connecting to screw terminals on equipment. It is also featured with 3 wires which are used for power or signal conductors. Its outermost visible color of the cable is black, which is standard for industrial or power cables.

The PPC-020401-025 cable is designed specifically for transmitting electrical power rather than signals or data. It is able to carry 600V of maximum voltage safely. It also features a round connector with 7 contact points (pins) and a blue plastic alignment insert. The maximum temperature the cable insulation can withstand in dry environments without degrading is 90°C. Its connector can be securely screwed into its mating port to prevent accidental disconnection, especially important in environments with vibration. The cable has an industrial grade black insulation outer jacket which protects the internal wires from mechanical damage, chemicals and environmental wear.
