Product Description

33VM52-000-4 is a low inertia servo motor which is available as a part of the VM Series.  The product is offered by Pacific Scientific and its known for its high-quality and high performance in the required environments. The product is available with the manual for easy installation and necessary details for operation.

This low inertia servo motor has a magnetic material make which is Alnico V-7. Its shaft diameter which is present at the drive end, bearing journal is of .281 to .344 inches. It doesn’t have any specific provision for forced air cooling. It doesn’t have an optical encoder and also an analog tachometer. Its sequence number is factory assigned. Its rated continuous current is marked at 3.1-5.7. Its rated voltage is of 18-36V.

The servo motor is highly functional and tested totally for safety and performance. It is available with three wires. The black wire is properly connected to the ground. The yellow or white wire is connected to the control unit. The red wire like in all servo motor is attached to the power supply unit. The servo motor has a unique function. It works to receive the control signal. This helps in representing the required position of servo shaft, as it works to apply power to the specific DC motor unit.

There is also position sensing device which works to find the rotational position of this shaft. Thus, it is quite aware about the way the motor shall turn in order to move this shaft to its instructed position. It needs to be noted here, that this shaft usually doesn’t rotate freely like the DC motor. But it can easily turn to a degree of 200 degree.
