Product Description:

Pacific Scientific is considered by many professionals around the world as the leading brand in the field of motion systems. Acquired by Kollmorgen a few years ago, its product range has been established as the most diverse and utilitarian, including core industrial equipment like servomotors, gear technologies, stepper motors etc.

2VM is one of Pacific Scientific’s Low Inertia Motors series that is an excellent example of the quality they bring to the market. Designed by some of the finest engineers using the best of technologies in the most modern facilities, these motors are absolutely flawless once they have passed the company’s rigorous testing and quality assurance plan.

Low inertia motors are constructed specifically for applications that require a quicker response time once the driver has passed its command, allowing the actuators to start performing as expected as quickly as possible.

To achieve this, the 2VM are designed to have minimal rotational inertia so it does not offer much resistance to change. This technology is best suited in high-end industrial applications such as CNC machining centers where speed and accuracy are both key.

2VM62-004-4 is a part of this low inertia motor series. The motor operates at a continuous rated current of 3.1-5.7 A and a rated voltage of 18-36 V, allowing it to fit into any industrial electricity grid without any special provision.

Although it does not have an analogue tachometer for position detection, it boasts a more advanced optical encoder instead that detects position and transmits it via dual channel square wave signals.

With such top of the class specifications and quality, Pacific Scientific 2VM62-004-4 Low Inertia Motor is definitely the piece of equipment you need in your industry!
