Internal Product Review
The K33HLHJ-LNK-NS-01 is a stepper motor with enhanced SIGMAX construction. A 1.8° step angle and ±1.5% step accuracy give motion systems consistent indexing and dependable positioning. The NEMA 34 frame and 15.6 Nm holding torque make the motor a strong choice for demanding industrial stepper duty.

Product Description:
Pacific Scientific manufactures the K33HLHJ-LNK-NS-01 as part of its K PowerPac Motors series. The product is a stepper motor intended to deliver discrete position increments in automated tooling, packaging, and material-handling equipment. A laminated rotor, single shaft with a straight key, and an internal shaft seal give the unit direct torque transfer while keeping contaminants out of the bearing cavity. Heavy-duty NEMA mounting holes align the motor with standard gearboxes and machine plates.
The motor’s stator is wound in the standard configuration and arranged in three stacks, a design that multiplies axial magnetic length for higher holding force. At rest it can sustain a load of 15.6 Nm, making it suitable for lead-screw drives that must stay locked when power is removed. The housing follows the 3.38 in. square profile of the NEMA 34 frame class, so it interchanges with other motion products of the same size while the SIGMAX enhanced construction reduces detent ripple. Each full step advances the shaft by 1.8°, and micro-stepping drives can subdivide that angle while still respecting the factory step accuracy of ±1.5%. A four-lead parallel connection lowers phase resistance for higher peak current, and the motor is supplied without feedback to simplify cabling.
The overall body length measures 171 mm, and a 1/2-inch NPSC pipe thread in the conduit entry mates with liquid-tight fittings so that splash-proof wiring can reach the internal terminal board. Insulation integrity is verified at 100 Megohms and is rated to withstand up to 340 Vdc, parameters that prevent leakage to the grounded frame when high switching voltages are present. Temperature limits of -20 °C to +40 °C cover unheated warehouses as well as machinery enclosures with limited cooling capacity. These electrical and environmental margins ensure stable stepping performance throughout the motor’s service life.
