Product Description:
The K32HSFL-LNK-NS-02 is a stepper motor manufactured by Pacific Scientific within the K PowerPac Motors series. Built on enhanced SIGMAX principles, it provides high flux density in a compact package for motion systems that need repeatable positioning without closed-loop feedback. The motor converts discrete control pulses into rotary motion for indexing tables, electronic assembly stations, and other position-controlled axes. It is suited to applications where open-loop control, predictable step response, and simple electrical integration are preferred. Its compact format also helps it fit machines where mounting space is limited but useful torque is still required.
The motor uses a square housing that conforms to NEMA 34 and measures 3.38 inches on each side. A body length of 133 mm contains two rotor stacks, which increase torque without enlarging the mounting face. Holding torque is rated at 10.8 Nm, helping the motor resist load movement at standstill. Full-step motion is set at 1.8°, and step accuracy is held within ±1.5%, which helps limit positioning error over repeated revolutions. The 8-lead wiring scheme allows either series or parallel phase connections, giving flexibility when matching the motor to available drive current and voltage. The design also includes a laminated rotor, standard windings, heavy-duty lead wires, and a straight-key shaft for keyed couplings.
The stator windings have an insulation resistance to ground of 100 Megohms, and the varnish system can withstand up to 340 Vdc without dielectric breakdown. These insulation values support use in typical industrial equipment where stable electrical isolation is required. Continuous operation is permitted from -20 °C to +40 °C, which suits many enclosed machine environments. A heavy-duty NEMA flange helps the motor withstand mechanical shock during service. The single shaft uses a straight key, which simplifies direct coupling to pulleys or hubs.
