F43HEMA-R4-KS-NV-00 is a F40 series servo motor. It is designed and manufactured by Pacific Scientific. F40 series motors deliver 3.6 to 6.9 Nm standstill torque and 9.2 to 17.5 Nm peak torque. These motors have a brushfree design which is a feature that allows reliable and safe operation. Traditional motors use carbon brushes for commutation. These brushes wear out during operation and must be replaced periodically. Furthermore, brushed commutation can lead to sparking, which is a safety hazard. Brushless F40 motors use electronic circuits instead of carbon brushes. These electronic circuits have no moving parts, and perform safely and reliably for extended periods of time. F40 motors use ferrite magnets and are able to match motor and load inertia. Operators can order primary and secondary feedback devices and optional holding brakes.
