It delivers commanded torque and speed to automated conveyors, pick-and-place heads, and auxiliary CNC axes, converting electrical energy into tightly regulated mechanical motion. A frameless resolver mounted on the shaft supplies absolute position data to the drive, allowing closed-loop control to correct load disturbances without the mechanical limitations of an encoder coupling. The motor follows a standard mechanical configuration that matches the inch-based mounting interfaces used throughout North American equipment.
The motor has a continuous stall torque of 32 lb-in, providing a baseline for static holding and low-speed feed duties. During rapid indexing, the torque can reach a peak of 81 lb-in for short periods without demagnetizing the rotor.
