Product Description:
The 5630 module is intended to be used with the Pacific Scientifics’ series of hybrid servo-stepper motors. This drive is designed to work flawlessly with both, the standard line as well as the enhanced line of similar high-performance hybrid motors. It supports the system in which the current rating value of the motor winding is compatible with the drive package's output current ie in the range of - 5.0,6.0, 7.5, up to 8.0 Amp RMS (with 7.1, 8.5, 10.6, and 11.3 Amps as the peak values).
The 5630 module has many characteristics that make it ideal for working on the series Pacific Scientifics’ 5000 series of stepper motors. It supports an input voltage of 115 volts ac (with ± 15% variation) and the Input current of 13 A RMS (maximum). The drive circuit is compatible to generate the two-phase, bipolar, chopper regulated current output on a nominal 160-volt dc Bus voltage with the 115 volts ac input. It has a selectable Switch for Rated current that gives the options for nominal values as 8.0 A RMS (at 11.3 A peak micro-stepping), 7.5 A RMS (at 10.6 A peak micro-stepping), 6.0 A RMS (at 8.5 A peak micro-stepping) and 5.0 A RMS (at 7.1 A peak micro-stepping).
The Pacific Scientific® equipment stands tall among its competitors for its robust built quality, safety, and easy functionality. 5630 motor drive is accordingly made to the best of standards and is very user- friendly. Mounting this drive in the system is achieved by selecting the standard 8-inch (205 mm) size NEMA frame. Once configured, it is an ideal electronic unit that transforms stepped and direction inputs into compatible motor winding currents and controls the connected bipolar, two-phase stepping motors.
